Returns & Authenticity Guarantee
At Krono Legacy, every luxury timepiece is handled with exceptional care, precision, and respect for its value. Because our inventory consists exclusively of high-value watches, we enforce a strict inspection and return window to protect the integrity of our collection. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Luxury Watches — 48-Hour Inspection Period
Due to the high-value and collectible nature of luxury timepieces, all watches are covered strictly by a 48-hour inspection period beginning when the carrier confirms the timepiece has arrived at your designated secure hold location. Within this window you may return the watch for any reason, no questions asked. Once this 48-hour window has passed, the sale is final.
Conditions for watch returns — The return request must be submitted within 48 hours of arrival, and the watch must come back in the exact same condition in which it was sent, complete with everything included in the original delivery. The piece must show no additional wear, sizing, scratches, damage, or modification beyond what was present at the time of sale — a pre-owned watch may of course carry the honest wear it had when you received it, but it must return exactly as it left us. We document the condition of every timepiece before it ships, so any change will be evident. Every item we sent must be returned with it: the box, warranty cards, booklets, documentation, tags, extra links, straps, and any accessories. The watch must be returned using the fully insured return label we provide (see Section 4).
In-stock refunds — An approved return is refunded at the watch's purchase price, less a 9.5% handling fee (minimum $300) — reflecting the time invested and the period the piece is held off the market for other clients — and less a $95 charge for the fully insured return label we provide. The original $95 shipping & handling fee and any payment processing fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.
Sourced (Available Upon Request) refunds — Because the 12.5% sourcing deposit becomes non-refundable once the acquisition is authorized, an approved return is refunded at 87.5% of the purchase price; the forfeited deposit stands in place of the handling fee. A $95 charge for the fully insured return label still applies, and the original $95 shipping & handling fee and any payment processing fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.
In either case, a watch that is not as described is handled separately and is not subject to these fees (see Section 6).
2. Final Sale / Non-Returnable Items
The following transactions are final sale and not eligible for return: timepieces that have been resized, modified, or customized at the client's request, and any items explicitly marked “Final Sale.”
Sourced (Available Upon Request) pieces may be returned within the same 48-hour inspection window under the 12.5% deposit and 87.5% terms described above; once that window closes, like every piece, the sale is final.
A completed purchase is never the end of the relationship. If down the line — weeks, months, or years later — you decide to part with a piece, simply reach out. We are always glad to help with the next step, whether that is buying it back, trading it toward something new, or consigning it on your behalf. These are courtesies offered on a case-by-case basis and carry no obligation on either side — our door is always open.
3. How to Initiate a Return
To request a return within your 48-hour window, email info@kronolegacy.com with your order number, watch reference, and reason for the return (including photos/video of the current condition). If eligible, you will receive a Return Code and detailed shipping instructions. Returns sent without a Return Code will be refused and sent back at the sender's expense.
4. Return Shipping & Insurance
Fully Insured Return Label — For every approved return, we provide a fully insured return-shipping label that covers the watch's full value door to door. A flat $95 is deducted from your refund to cover it, and because the shipment travels on our insured label, the piece is protected in transit both ways.
Packaging — You are responsible for packaging the watch securely, ideally in its original shipping materials. If you are at all unsure, we are glad to walk you through it step by step at no charge — we ship watches like these every day, and we would rather it be done right.
Not As Described — If a piece is not as described, it is handled separately and we cover the return shipping entirely (see Section 6).
5. Inspection & Refund Processing
All returns undergo a rigorous, multi-point diagnostic inspection by our watchmakers. We reserve the right to deny a refund if the watch shows any new signs of wear, handling, or casing damage beyond its documented condition at the time of sale; the timepiece has been altered, resized, or modified since it left us; internal movements, parts, hands, dials, or serial numbers have been tampered with or switched; or any item from the original delivery is missing. If a return is denied, the item will be sent back to the customer at their expense. Approved refunds are issued strictly to the original payment method within 5–10 business days following inspection approval.
6. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your timepiece arrives damaged or does not match its description, notify us within 48 hours of arrival with clear photographic or video documentation of the packaging and the watch. We stand behind every description: upon verification, we will work with you directly, case by case, to reach a fair resolution — a correction, replacement, or full refund. The handling fee does not apply to confirmed not-as-described or defective shipments, and Krono Legacy covers return shipping in these cases.
7. International Orders
International returns are subject to the same 48-hour inspection window and the 9.5% handling fee (minimum $300). The customer assumes full responsibility for all international shipping, customs clearances, duties, and regional taxes. Krono Legacy does not refund import fees or assume responsibility for customs delays.
8. Chargebacks & Fraud Prevention
Every timepiece shipped from our inventory is thoroughly photographed, video-documented, and logged by its individual serial number. Initiating a chargeback without contacting our team first will result in permanent account restriction, refusal of future transactions, and immediate legal recovery efforts. We reserve the right to pursue full criminal and civil recovery for fraudulent activity.
9. Policy Modifications
Krono Legacy reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time. The version posted on our website at the precise time of purchase governs the transaction.
